The Erasmus+ Staff Training Mobility Call at Tor Vergata University gives staff the opportunity to attend workshops, seminars, and training programs at partner institutions across Europe. The program promotes cultural exchange, deepening participant’s understanding of diverse educational systems and perspectives. Overall, it strengthens Tor Vergata’s global presence and improves its competitiveness by enhancing faculty skills and fostering international partnerships. The Staff Training Mobility can take the form of either Job shadowing or participation in training events organized by European universities on topics related to the applicant’s work activities. The primary goal of this training is to facilitate skill transfer, the acquisition of practical expertise, and the adoption of best practices. Job shadowing, for instance, involves on-the-job training through direct collaboration with staff at another European university, offering participants the opportunity to acquire new skills, techniques, and methods that can be directly applied in their work.
Staff Mobility Weeks, on the other hand, are structured training events typically focused on specific themes. These weeks provide valuable opportunities for learning and networking with peers from various institutions across Europe. This year, Tor Vergata University has scheduled two application periods for the Staff Training Mobility experience. The first round was highly successful, with over 70 candidates from different Departments and Schools taking part.
Building on this success, the second application period will be open from April 7, 2025, to June 16, 2025. For further details and to apply, please refer to the official Call for Applications
