Please consider not wiping out this beautiful land for yet another soon-to-be obsolete energy source when we have so many other less invasive options.
To whom it may concern, We the people of the Nashville surrounding area do not support this power plant proposal. It is disgusting, and our people want no part in it. We will not support this build, and we will make that very clear in whatever efforts you make to pass it. Nikki Pazdra negative Nikki Pazdra 37172

Building a pipeline where TVA is proposing will, quite literally, kill us. Drilling has already been proven to be horrible for this planet. The planet we, as HUMANS, live on for a brief period of time. And for what? This town does not benefit by what will happen. We suffer because of it. The town benefiting is about 25 minutes away from Ashland City. There are places closer to that town than anywhere within this city's limits. This shouldn't be happening in general, but there are other places This could be built. Around where they are trying to do this are the most beautiful views, wildlife, and sounds. The ecosystem here shouldn't be put in a situation it could potentially not snap back from. Not only will the ecosystem decline, the people will suffer too. As a local I know that some residents use well water to do things around the house, including cooking with and drinking. What happens if, by some chance the water that they use gets contaminated with oil, eventually rust, and well the things we don't know about and these people start to get ill or pass away? Is there an insurance policy you have to cover that potential? Are you able to, with surety, keep the population of this county and the land on which we live safe? As for a solution, well I don't know much about this, but I have an idea as a citizen of this county and fellow human being. There is always the best idea you could choose for all parties involved. Just stop hurting this planet. Just cut your losses, if there are any, and think of a better way. You could go solar, you could go water even. Use what we are given. We are blessed to have these resources available to us, why do we have to get to the center and take it? It's given. I truly hope this community can keep thriving the way it has been for many decades; Without anything damaging the soul, the spirit of this land. Doing this would force people to move. We love it here in this small town. It would be a shame to have to leave it. A sad day that would be. With much love and pride for this town and as a respectful human, thank you for your time. I really hope these get read and taken in. We can make the change that us as a collective need. Money doesn't matter when you are dead, and no one lives forever.

We do not want you here in Cheatham. Take it somewhere else. This isn’t safe. We have enough harmful things to deal with just in water and food already. Please pick another location.

Cheatham County Generation Site_#86 NO. NO. NO. This would risk the health and safety of so many people and animals. These farms are our Life. This would contaminate the water we drink, that or animals drink. The air we all breathe. There are too many creeks, streams, and rivers nearby to even consider this location. There are endangered crayfish in these creeks that are protected. Please stop destroying our world. negative Cammi

Cheatham County Generation Site_#85 We do not want this Methane Gas Plant in Ashland City on Lockertsville Road built. It will impact the environment negatively, noise pollution, water source. This will also have an impact on our property values due to the location of the proposed facility and our property. negative David

There surely are other options available in a more industrialized area than the rolling hills and waterways of our community? I am disappointed this wasn't addressed and revealed to the community prior to the purchasing of the land. Where is our leadership? Isn't there some accountability to the citizens who make this area home? It seems as if TVA is just providing a forum without providing any solutions that would alter the couse of this bad, bad decision. I implore you to sell your land and find another alternative than disrupting this land, rivers and streams and it's citizens, their homes, or we will just become another part of this area dug up, cut down and replaced with some hideous commercial facility that no one wants in their back yard. negative Cindy Tillis Shorey 37015

I live in the area that would be affected by this pipeline. I grew up in an area in Illinois surrounded by power plants like this and almost everyone in my family and many of my friends suffered a type of cancer. I had leukemia for 5 years and was lucky enough to survive it, as was my grandma who had breast cancer. But both of my grandpas who lived in the area did of their respective cancers (leukemia and brain tumors). Allowing this to be built in our area will endanger current residents, their children, and generations to come.

I don't get it. You don't want us cooking with gas anymore yet you want to use it to make electricity? Build a solar farm. Please.

This will impact our community’s whole ecosystem, native plant species, watersheds, and wildlife. An area of land can’t only be viewed from an aerial perspective, you must be on the ground driving the area daily to fully understand the environmental impacts building this facility would create on Lockertsville Road, because the road wasn’t designed to handle heavy equipment traveling this narrow country road. This would be a tragedy for our peaceful community! Some of the residents and landowners in this community are 5 generations strong and planned on leaving a legacy for their great-great grandchildren. If this facility eventually is built I don’t imagine it being a positive experience for our families negative Cary Hunt 37015

Cheatham County Generation Site_#78 It would be a tragedy to put this plant in here. Find another place. To much at stake to risk an accident and spill chemicals in the water supply. If that were to happen it would affect much more than just our local area plus it would endanger the wild life. This is a NO on many accounts. I am willing to join forces and get as many signatures as possible to stop this from ruining our community. negative Patty Sue Ashcraft 37146
