We should not be building any new fossil fuel plants or pipelines. We need to switch to clean energy sources now.

This plant would be devastating to our wildlife protected waterways and a pollutant to our environment! Please consider other alternatives. As a resident of the sycamore creek area for over 20 years I protest this plan. negative Richard Jones 37015

We believe there is an Environment Friendly alternative instead of methane gas pipelines.

We are in a climate crisis. We need to successfully address it. Allocating any more money to new fossil fuel projects, including building another gas plant in Cheatham County (or any place else) will lead to failure. Additionally the 12 mile methane gas pipeline required to support the plant will destroy the natural environment and people's property and, like all such pipelines, will leak.

Stop this ill conceived, harmful project immediately

This is not wanted in this area. There are better locations that effect less people. We do not have roads or fire protection to support something this large. I cannot imagine what this will do to those of us who have asthma. Keep Looking for better options negative Donna Jackson 37015

Your actions and inactions regarding this and all related concerns have been, are being and will be remembered by all of us who will live in the world that you are shaping with your decisions right now, in addition to being a matter of public record. We are all on it together. Environmental emergencies are affecting everybody’s health and livelihood, and will do so for generations to come. All issues need to be considered as facets of the critical state of the biosphere. Given the consistency with which each current and foreseeable crisis has been weaponized against the vulnerable majority of the population of the United States of America and the world, and the exceptional leniency shown toward — not to mention the overwhelming subsidization of — those industries that create and perpetuate these crises, any failure on your part to directly address and act upon these issues can only be seen as complicity in extinction and a clearly genocidal agenda. negative Sam Inabinet 23464

This is the perfect opportunity to invest in clean energy and not only serve Cheatham County with more affordable energy, but ensure that future generations enjoy a healthy environment and community.
