Thank you.

That's a big no for me. Why shut one down restore where it's already at. Haven't we already used enough of our land for ridiculous additions. Let's leave this county at least half a great as it has been. Not to mention placing gas lines on people's property is going to depreciate their properties that they have no control on changing once it is done.

It's time to do what's right for America and our children. Putting corporate interests above the people is a crime in my book. I hope that you can muster the will and sense of duty to do what is morally right.

Air pollution is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Increasing it via increased fossil fuel emissions will harm Tennessee residents and the planet.

My family, neighbors and I do not support the build of this power plant. We are pleading TVA to spend more time researching clean, renewable energy sources.
Appalachian Voices Public Scoping Comment Letter Every time another gas or oil drilling operation starts, it depletes the remainder of oil & gas under the earth. It gets us to the end faster. Since it takes thousands of years to replace it (if ever), what is the big rush to get to the end? I know the oil & gas guys are extremely greedy and want huge bank balances, and don't care about anyone buy themselves, but if they would invest their money into renewable energy, they would see that we could have a future on this planet. Their children wouldn't have to worry about when they will have to move to another planet, or die on this one. negative Ruth Hood 30906

TVA should stop investing in fossil fuels.
Appalachian Voices Public Scoping Comment Letter
A recent study commissioned by Appalachian Voices shows that clean energy is a reliable and cost effective alternative to fossil fuels. Clean energy would create far more jobs, providing a permanent boost to local economies.

Good move to stop using coal which has sometimes hampered our air quality in Asheville area, yet the new plan is possibly just as dangerous and very short sighted. There are better choices and you can make it safer by going for the best current solution. Go for it. negative Jim & Carol Hillegas 28711

NO MORE FOSSIL FUELS. KEEP IT IN THE GROUND. PEOPLE AND PLANET BEFORE PROFIT. I’m not trying to use all caps in a nasty way. I just feel it’s important for all to see it. Time is growing shorter and very profitable corporations are irreversibly harming the planet that our species and and all complex life forms require to survive. There will be nothing to spend that money on on an uninhabitable planet No one can defy the laws of physics. DO THE RIGHT THING NOW. NO TIME FOR FOOLISHNESS AND IGNORANCE AND GREED. negative Sharon and Michael
