Again, investing in fossil fuels and through 32 miles of pipeline + 12 miles of pipeling through private property and natural areas. All of this has backthrust and flies in the face of what we're trying to accomplish - weening off of fossil fuel. negative Robert Fritsch 6111

Methane gas is not safe to breathe. Use clean, renewable energy and while you are at it, look at all of the jobs that will add to our country!

Don’t trade one fossil fuel for another, especially when there are renewable energy alternatives already in production, like solar panels and wind turbines.
Appalachian Voices Public Scoping Comment Letter Methane is 25 times more powerful as a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. Methane leaks when it is collected and transferred from source to utility. Burning methane drives climate change, which will make Earth unlivable for us unless we reduce our greenhouse gas emissions right now. Tennessee deserves clean unpolluted air. Tennessee deserves a future climate that supports human life. Don't allow more dirty fossil fuels. negative E Franklin 33020

Dear TVA team and board:
Appalachian Voices Public Scoping Comment Letter
Please withdraw these plans for a new fossil fuel gas plant in middle Tennessee. Leave fossil fuels in the ground and build out more clean renewable energy instead. Thank you for your time and attention.

Please stop investing time and resources in projects that will fit her harm the environment. Methane gas plants and the pipelines needed to supply them arenot a good long term solution for the environment or for the people who live near them. negative Kristin Fontaine 98155

Renewable energy is clearly the future if we want our children and their children to have one. At this point in our challenging times with climate change and all its consequences, I am amazed that you have continued to chose profit over people. In the future, your irresponsibility will be remembered and your actions will cost you in court cases and public scorn. And, your children will know what you have done for the almighty dollar. negative Allyson Finkel 92688

I would like to see protection for local farmers and their crop, not devastation for local farmers and their crop. No pipeline.

You have an opportunity to do the right thing for the planet. Renewable energy, especially micro hydro and hydrogen, as well as wind and sun can certainly replace the coal plant and give jobs and opportunities for innovation while not introducing dangerous methane and other pollutants into the environment negative Christine Fidler 80223

Why would you swtch from one earth destroying fuel to a different earth destroying fuel? Especially when the cost of clean fuel is competitive! All pipelines leak. Do you know how destructive a polluting leak will be in those beautiful mountains? Egad!
