YU Signs MOU with Yad Vashem YU’s Emil A. and Jenny Fish Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Yad Vashem—the World Holocaust Remembrance Center—and recently gained New York State approval for an advanced certificate program to train U.S. teachers in educating about the Holocaust. Dor L’Dor Yeshiva Learning Program Draws Close to 200 Parents to YU Batei Midrash Undergraduate Torah Studies (UTS) hosted the Dor L’Dor Yeshiva Learning Program on Presidents Day, which provided parents with the opportunity to join their child’s morning seder and shiurim in all four UTS programs. Close to 200 parents and grand- parents, from various locations in the US, Canada, and Europe came to YU’s uptown campus for a day of learning and inspiration. READ MORE

Business is celebrating its “Double Chai” anniversary with a yearlong celebration highlighting the “Best of

Syms” with monthly themed events. The celebration kickoff occurred in January in Israel, with a gathering of Sy Syms alumni by the School’s dean, Dr. Noam Wasserman. The School’s Jewish Values Curriculum was featured in February and March’s theme is Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The rest of the year’s monthly themes are: the School’s Honors Program (April), Star Students and Alumni (May), Torah U’Business (September), Finance and Real Estate (October), Israel Initiatives (November), and the Sy Syms Annual Shabbaton planned for December.
