That’s including the 50% top up given by Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation. Many walked in memory of someone that received hospice care; like Team Aldi, - with 15 walkers - walking in memory of Amanda's mum, Anne McGill, who would have been celebrating her 60th birthday, Callum's Uncle Billy, who received care at home and also Clare's Gran, Mili Alexander, who received care in our In-Patient unit. The Ayrshire Hospice would like to thank everyone for taking part and helping us achieve this amazing amount which will help to continue to provide care and services for all patients and their families across Ayrshire and Arran.
April this year saw over 100 fantastic supporters take part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk, raising over £50,000 for the Ayrshire Hospice. With walkers from all across

all important medal, where they were welcomed by family, friends and members of our Fundraising Team. With individual walkers as well as teams like Walkaholics, Motiv8 Fitness, Del’s Belles, Team Aldi Prestwick, Gail’s Galivanters, Team McLaughlin, Chaz & mum, Just Dae It, MacKinnon Clan, Team Symington, Microtech Group we are so pleased to announce that these Hospice Heroes have raised a phenomenal £50,801.80.
Scotland taking on either The Mighty Stride at 22.7 miles or the Big Stroll at 14.5 miles, it was an amazing day! With the sun shining everyone crossed the finish line at Balloch to get that
in your diary for next year!
