Super turnout for Ayrshire Hospice Memory Walk
Over 400 fantastic Shining Stars put their best foot forward on the streets of Ayr and Alloway on Saturday night for the Ayrshire Hospice’s annual Shining Star Memory Walk.

It was a memorable evening and successful fundraising event for the hospice, which would not be possible without our amazing community. Thank you!”
Participants took to the streets over 13, 9 or 4 mile routes taking special steps in memory of loved ones, whilst creating new memories with family and friends. Out on route, walkers were entertained by local musicians, and neighbours lined the streets to cheer passing walkers. Local musical duo Ebb & Flow kicked off the evening with some fantastic
entertainment, before Claire Houston took to the stage to warm up the walkers before they hit the road at 8.00pm. Walkers were ably supported by a fantastic team of Hospice staff and a vast group of helpful volunteers, keeping them safe and motivated as they made their way around the routes.
