Pension St. Georges, University of London offers the industry-leading USS pension scheme which has a generous employer contribution level (c. 21%) and a range of extra benefits. Leave Staff at St. Georges, University of London are entitled to 32 days of annual leave per year pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this are 3 extra closure days between Christmas and New Year, when the University is closed and the 8 Bank Holidays per year.

Staff Development and Training St George’s offers a wide range of activities to support the development and training needs of individuals and teams, including: • Leadership and Management Development • Coaching and Mentoring • A Core programme open to all staff as well as development programmes for specific staff groups including researchers, staff with technical and specialist roles, professional services and staff with learning and teaching responsibilities. Staff Support St George’s provides an Occupational Health Service to ensure the health and wellbeing of staff – promoting health and preventing ill-health through health screening, vaccinations and immunisation, sickness absence management, health promotion and accident follow-up. A staff counselling and support service is also provided free of charge by a number of registered psychotherapists. Staff Facilities Our Staff and Students can receive discounted rates to use the facilities at Tooting Leisure Centre. The council-run facilities are just minutes away from campus on Greaves Place and membership will offer use of the gym and swimming pool, along with unlimited group exercise classes, indoor cycling sessions and a discount on non-membership activities such as squash and badminton.
