It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the latest edition of The Article. Within these pages, you’ll find a diverse collection of stories and updates reflecting the vibrant spirit of our hospice community.

An incredible £100,000 was raised at A Night at the Euros Final held at Ayr Racecourse in April. Guests were treated to a superb sporting night, entertained by some of Scottish football’s biggest names from both the past and present. Martin O’Neill, Terry Butcher, Arthur Numan, Gordon Strachan, James McFadden, and Robert Snodgrass took to the stage for an exciting “Scotland vs The Rest of the World” quiz. The evening’s host, Mark Guidi, kicked off the night with a competitive ice-breaker game of “Red Card, Yellow Card,” which saw one lucky guest win a two- night stay at Blairquhan Estate, kindly donated by Blairquhan Castle.

The night concluded with Arthur Numan taking to the stage for an impressive rendition of the unofficial Tartan Army
