Brothers Ross and Marc Fisher completed the gruelling 96mile walk in April in memory of their dad, Wullie. Their dad had always wanted to all the West Highland Way so the brothers couldn’t think of a better way to honour their Dad. Ross and Marc also wanted to say thank you to the Hospice for the care their Dad received at home, and the support the whole family received from Hospice staff. The weather was on their side however, the blisters were not! After five long days and some very sore feet, the boys made their way into Fort William with friends and family there to greet them. Raising an incredible £8,030, the brothers were overwhelmed by the support they received on this challenge from friends, family and colleagues.

The annual Ayrshire Hospice Golf Day raised a fantastic £19,280 as almost 150 golfers took on the challenging West Kilbride Golf Club course in August in fantastic weather on the North Ayrshire coastline.
