2.6 challenge success

By Ron Swanson, Assistant Fundraising Manager A huge “thank you” to all of our incredible home heroes who took part in the 2.6 challenge back in April. With so many fundraising events cancelled or postponed, the organisers of the London Marathon encouraged the nation to get involved in the 2.6 challenge to mark the 26th April, which was the date of the London Marathon. Supporters walked 26,000 steps, created 26 rainbows, painted 26 paintings of birds, performed 26 songs in 26 minutes, walked 2.6 miles, cycled 26 kilometres and a whole lot more! We loved your enthusiasm and creativity to fundraise safely and in such a fun way during lockdown and we’re delighted to say that we’ve raised just over £12,400 from
