Many thanks to Troon Ladies Hockey Club for their recent fundraising. As a way to keep fit over the lockdown period, 19 of the 1st and 2nd XI team players took part in a virtual fitness challenge to travel from Troon to John o’ Groats by walking, running and cycling. Each week their mileage was collated to see how far they had got. They did so well in the first couple of weeks that they decided to do a return journey back to Troon. A total of 636 miles was covered. An amazing £1,800 was raised in sponsorship for the challenge. We hope you are all fully fit now to return to hockey when you can. Thanks again for your support.
amount for the hospice. Thank you all so much.
Huge thanks to Struther Farmhouse who raised an impressive £1,450 during May when they put on a delicious take-away cream tea and held a raffle to raise funds for the hospice. Thank you so much to the Dunlop community and beyond who supported the event - the spread looks absolutely delicious. Well done and thank you Struther Farmhouse.
Hillside School raised a fantastic £4,830 from their challenge in loving memory of staff member Limara Thomas’ mother-in-law and dear colleague at Hillside, Rosemary Thomas. The team collectively walked, cycled and ran 4,100 miles over 14 days which has concluded in an incredible fundraising journey. We just love to see you all in your hospice t-shirts and a sincere "thank you" for raising this amazing amount - a true team effort!
Huge thanks to Ebb & Flow Wedding & Event Duo for their recent virtual concert here on our Facebook page. It was an amazing afternoon of entertainment with a great variety of songs. We are delighted to announce that a fantastic £1,391 has been raised from the event. Well done Paul and David, thanks for your support.
