23 Thank you |
Huge thanks to sister and brother, Claire and Stephen who raised £1,557.17 over only 10 days earlier in 2020. Claire and Stephen's Dad, Colin McGhee was recently cared for in the hospice and Claire and Stephen organised raffles and bonus ball holiday stays in their family's caravan in aid of our charity to say thank you for all the care that Colin was receiving. Thank you so much Claire, Stephen and everyone who supported you. This is a fantastic amount raised and a wonderful tribute to your Dad - thank you!
Huge thanks to Saltcoats Protestant Boys Flute Band for their recent fundraising. Sadly, Gary who was one of the band members passed away recently so they decided to help by raising money for the hospice and decided to take on a sponsored cycle. They started off at Ardrossan cemetery to pay their respects and then cycled to Irvine, West Kilbride and back to Saltcoats. They have raised a fabulous £8,082 which is very gratefully received during these difficult times. Thanks again for your support.
Big thanks to our very own Graeme Strawhorn for keeping us entertained over lockdown with Stroggy’s Quiz night. It has been great fun and helped keep us all connected and in touch throughout lockdown. Graeme has raised over £1,700 in the process for the hospice. Thanks again Graeme and to everyone who took part.
Huge thanks to loyal hospice supporter Jen Allan who raised £330 when she walked her dogs, Angus and Sky, 10,000 steps per day every day throughout June whatever the weather! Well done Jen and thanks so much again! Please give Angus and Sky a “round of a paws” from us!
Rodger Smith raised £1,500 through performing a series of fitness challenges from his own home. Huge well done Rodger and thank you for your sterling efforts and enthusiasm!
