Entry for the Ayrshire Hospice 2023 Summer Super Draw opens in June with a top prize of £2023!
You can enter from Tuesday 6th June online via www. ayrshirehospice.org/summer- super-draw for a top prize of £2023, a second prize of £500, a third prize of £100 and 70 x £10 prizes. In 2022 the Summer Super Draw generated £29,915 in sales and donations with all profits going towards exceptional care for local people and their families facing a life limiting diagnosis. A book containing 12 tickets with each one costing £1 will be mailed out to supporters and you can play
online on our website or scan the QR Code for even quicker entry. Tickets are on sale from the 6th of June, the closing date for returning paper tickets is Friday 14th July and online entries close at midnight on Thursday 20th July. The draw will take place on Friday 21st July giving the lucky winners plenty of time

Would you like the chance to win £1,000 every Friday? Our Ayrshire Hospice Weekly Lottery creates 72 winners each and every Friday! For a £5 monthly subscription, you have the opportunity to win our top prize of £1,000, our 2nd prize of £100 and there are also 70 chances to win £10! Your lottery entry really does make a big difference to the care and services we provide to our patients and their loved ones. In 2022 our lottery raised £731,155 throughout the year, and after prizes and costs were deducted, this equated to a fantastic £471,941, which went directly to provide care to patients and their families

The Ayrshire Hospice has been working with Lorna Reid from the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice for the past ten years to create and deliver the only online Namaste Care training course in Scotland. Namaste care is a program of sensory care designed to improve the quality of life for people living with the advanced stages of dementia and although it originated in care homes it can be used in any health and social care setting.
The Hospice is very excited to be able to introduce recognition awards to supporters who reach monetary milestones on their Tribute Pages. We are pleased to start offering leaves on our Celebration Tree as a way to thank you for raising funds to support the Hospice. You can choose your own engraving, and will be offered

Research has identified the benefits of Namaste care and recently the Ayrshire Hospice was asked to present at the Ayrshire and Arran Allied Health Practitioners falls prevention event at the Park Hotel in February, with around 100 participants from Health and Social Care sector attending. The training course demonstrates what a Namaste care session could look like by staging and speaking about the importance of person- centred care end of life care, the environment and maintaining connections using the senses.
