VCE INFORMATION Introduction
The Lakes South Morang College is staffed by experienced senior school educators and is an inclusive environment in which staff and students work together in a supportive learning framework. Staff provide a supportive, safe and stimulating learning environment where students value their learning. Our Senior Secondary curriculum, beginning at Year 10, allows for students to select a program that fits well within their individual needs, interests and unique talents. Our co-curricular electives have integrated programs which have a range of exciting opportunities and activities for students to experience including locations outside of school on offer. Our dedicated staff endeavour to form enriching relationships with students to ensure they are guided towards the right programs that match their academic readiness and progression towards their VCE studies. We believe that all students are individuals, with different strengths and abilities. We accommodate the varying needs and abilities of students by providing access to education for all senior students. Our updated school facilities create spaces for our senior students to feel academically motivated, comfortable to seek help and relaxed in their learning environment. We offer a co-curricular program with specialised and devoted teachers to help students think critically and creatively, and lead them to become highly competent in their depth of knowledge in their chosen subjects, competent in research, use of ICT, writing, and communication. Students will become determined to take on global perspectives and strive toward their future aspirations and dreams and experience success in a range of different platforms along the way.
