It is with great pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to each one of you to the Ibec HR Leadership Summit 2023. This year’s theme ‘Intelligent workplaces – Are you ready?’ explores the important roles that psychological safety in teams, AI and Talent Intelligence will play in creating sustainable, healthy and productive workplaces. Our focus on these fascinating subject areas is timely, with Ireland’s labour market at full employment and an ongoing housing shortage, businesses globally, are seizing transformative technology alternatives to meet demand. For the CHRO, the next big challenge is how to create the conditions to embrace this change. Throughout the day our attention will be on how we can learn from the disruptive changes that are reshaping and redefining our professional landscape at an unprecedented pace driven by technological advancements, shifting demographics and changing societal norms. Through the Summit, we will aim not only to understand these changes but also harness them to our advantage.
