BE spot coolers use a refrigeration system, like any typical air conditioner, to extract heat from the air and lower the ambient temperature. The Kilowatt rating I.e., 2 kW, indicates cooling capacity. This means the spot cooler can remove 2 kilowatts of heat from the air, equivalent to approximately 6,824 British thermal units per hour (BTU/h). The actual cooling performance may vary with the ambient temperature, humidity, and insulation of the space being cooled.
