Our VIA program is an unparalleled educational journey designed to nurture and challenge bright young minds from Years 5 to 9, with clear pathways into Senior Secondary School, creating unique opportunities for young people to amplify their educational experience. The VIA Program caters for students whose learning needs require them to be challenged with a faster-paced and rigorous curriculum that offers extension in a range of topics. Offers for entry to the VIA Program for the following year are made at Year 4, Year 6 and 8. For further information contact the High-Abilities Leader at the Secondary Campus DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM The Development Programs provide students with specialised opportunities to extend their skills, confidence, and personal growth in the areas of visual arts, athletics, and dance. Through structured training, expert guidance, and hands- on experiences, students build technical ability, creativity, discipline, and leadership while working toward personal goals. Each program encourages students to take ownership of their development, explore their interests, and participate in authentic learning experiences that may include performances, exhibitions, or connections to professional environments. Artist Development Program • Develop skills in visual art and/or textiles through studio-based practice Explore mediums such as drawing, painting, sculpture, macramé, and crochet • Receive personalised feedback and guidance • Create high-quality artworks suitable for exhibitions or portfolios • Encourages experimentation, creative thinking, and risk-taking
Applicants for the VIA Program will be considered based on a variety of data sets. These may include:
• Independent Standardised Testing (e.g. AGAT, PAT) • Victorian Curriculum Progression in Literacy and Numeracy • General Academic Achievement in other Victorian Curriculum Learning Areas. • History of upholding College Values of Learning, Teamwork, Leadership and Respect

Athlete Development Program • Personalised gym and conditioning programs • Sport-specific skill development and performance testing • Opportunities for incursions, excursions, and guest speakers in elite sport environments • Recognition through certificates and annual improvement awards • Focus on safe training, resilience, teamwork, and wellbeing Technical training across genres such as contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical • Opportunities for choreography, collaboration, and performance • Builds confidence, discipline, and teamwork • Supports pathways into senior dance studies (e.g., VCE Dance) • Emphasises creativity, resilience, and artistic expression.
