Suggested Activities:
→ Whiteboard Coaching: On the left side of a whiteboard, write down the
strategies that the individual would say that they currently take to WOW
their clients. On the right side of the board, brainstorm with the
individual some new ideas for strategies to WOW clients. Then, erase
the left side of the board and write down the tools and skills that the
individual should have to utilize those strategies on the right side of the
board. You should also discuss with the individual how having new
strategies in place will directly benefit their client relationships.
Suggested Learning Projects:
→ Peer-to-Peer Coaching: Assign your coaching target to meet with two
peers in the coming week to discuss their strategies for WOW-ing clients.
At your next coaching session, the individual should be
prepared to discuss the specific strategies that their peers have in place
to WOW their clients, what successes their peers have found with
different strategies, and the challenges they face when trying to WOW
their clients. How do their peers address the challenges they
encounter? What effects do they observe on their client relationships as
a result of their efforts to WOW them? What strategies and tips can the
person you are coaching take away from their conversations with their
peers to utilize in their own methods?
