Presentation Speed
Suggested Strategy: Practice is the key to building confidence –
someone that speeds through presentations may not be comfortable
presenting or have the confidence to do so well.
Suggested Questions:
→ Rating Question: On a scale of one to six, with six representing that
you could do it in your sleep and would be enthused to do so, and one
representing a fear or anxiety associated with it, where would you rate
yourself on your ability to present to clients and why? (If the response
isbelow a six) What actions can you and I take together to help you
reach a six?
→ Third-Party Question: If we were to ask your clients how they would
describe your presentations, what do you think they might say?
Suggested Activities:
→ Role Play: Practice various scenarios where the employee would have
to present to a customer. Have the employee play both the salesperson
and the customer to see both sides of the conversation. Try not to break
out of roles until the conversation is finished. Once finished with both
perspectives, each of you should give feedback to each other on how
the role of salesperson was played.
