Timely Communication
Suggested Strategy: Use a Define & Coach strategy to set a definition
that both you and the employee you are coaching will operate under.
The person you are coaching may have a different idea of what “tim ely
communication” means.
Suggested Questions:
→ Define & Coach: When I say the phrase timely communication , what
definition do you think you would assign to it based on what you think is
expected of you in your position?
→ Rating Question: On a scale of one to six, with six being that you
follow that definition closely when communicating at work, and one
being that you are the opposite of that definition, where would you rate
yourself and why?
→ Self-Actualized Question: What actions can we take together to help
you reach a six?
