be working with. Discuss with both of them how they will be working to
not only teach skills, but also build a peer relationship and how that
affects confidence.
Suggested Learning Projects:
→ Journal-Based Coaching: Have the employee reflect on their peer
relationships and how they have boosted their confidence in not only the
area of expertise, but if it has translated to other areas, particularly ones
where they aren’t confident.
Supplemental Coaching Strategies:
→ Non-Verbal Coaching: Leave your coaching target a hand-written note
on their desk when you observe them practicing the skills, they sent you
in their weekly email. Make sure your note is specific and descriptive.
