→ Whiteboard Coaching: Building off the previous conversation, on the
right side of a whiteboard, take the points from your discussion andask
for feedback on their opinions on what their goals are for changing how
they converse constructively about conflict. Then, on the left side ofthe
board, ask the team to describe how they currently talk about conflict.
To finish the activity, erase the left side of the board and ask theteam
specifically what steps need to take place to reach the actions and
behaviors listed on the right side of the board.
Suggested Learning Projects:
→ Observational Coaching: Have the team leave your coaching session
with the goal of observing the rest of the team and their ability to talk
about conflict constructively. Have them rate their teammates by having
each employee write down what the collective team did well, where they
could improve, and one thing they observed that they didn’t think of
prior to observing that behavior.
