Suggested Strategy: Use Rating Questions to find their comfort level in
both kinds of meetings, with and without executives attending.
Suggested Questions:
→ Rating Question: On a scale of one to six, with six representing 100%
confidence in contributing to meetings with just our team, and one
representing that you have no confidence in those meetings at all, where
would you rate yourself and why?
→ Rating Question: On a scale of one to six, with six representing 100%
confidence in contributing to meetings where executives are present,
and one representing that you have no confidence at all, where would
you rate yourself and why?
→ Risk Question: What risks do you think you might mitigate by
maintaining a consistent contribution in both types of meetings and
reading the room?
Suggested Activities:
→ GOAL-Based Coaching: Discuss with the individual their goals for
their career. What do they aspire to become Great at? What
Opportunities might be afforded to the individual due to becoming
great? What Actions must they take in meetings to help bring those
opportunities within reach? What will the individual Love about
reaching their goals (this is their emotional connection to the goal)?
