Suggested Activities:
→ Whiteboard Coaching: On the left side of a whiteboard, write down
how the individual would describe their current impact on the team’s
morale by their current level of participation and enthusiasm in
organizational activities. On the right side of the board, write down how
the individual would describe the ideal participation by a team leader in
organizational activities. Then, erase the left side of the board and work
with the individual to create a list of actions that the individual will take
to reach that description on the right side of the board. Ask them to
explain the team benefits that might come about as a result of the
individual’s future actions.

→ Self-Directed Learning: Assign your coaching target to come back to
your next coaching session with three examples of ways that they plan
to participate or gain participation by the team for the next activity
planned by the organization. How will those actions help lead their
team in building morale and gaining buy-in to participate from the
whole team?
