Suggested Strategy: Using GOAL-Based Coaching, help the individual
you are coaching set specific goals for the team while simultaneously
creating a strategy for themselves to build team morale using those
goals.
Suggested Questions:
→ Third-Party Question: If we were to ask someone from outside the
company how they would describe our team’s morale, what do you think
they might say and why?
→ Risk Question: What risks do you think you might mitigate by putting
focus on building our team’s morale?
Suggested Activities:
→ GOAL-Based Coaching: What does the individual hope for their team
to become Great at? What Opportunities might be presented to the
team as a result of becoming great? What Actions does the individual
need to take to build team morale to
reach these goals, bring the team’s
awareness to the goals, and give
them something to rally behind to
bring these opportunities within
reach for the group? What will the
individual Love about the team
reaching these goals?
