Continuous & Consistent Motivation
Suggested Strategy: By finding motivation throughout the entire month,
there is less chance for digression mid-way through. Use this Coaching
Map in a group coaching session.
Suggested Questions:
→ Opposite Insertion Question: What benefits do you think you might
gain from staying positively motivated for the duration of the month
instead of just when we need to reach our monthly goals?
→ Risk Question: What risks do you think we might assume as a team by
waiting until the end of the month push before taking motivated action
earlier in the month?
Suggested Activities:
→ Brainstorming: Create a list of potential ways to make reaching the
end-of-the-month goal even easier for your employees by exhibiting
motivated action throughout the entire month.
→ Whiteboard Coaching: Have the group come up with four sub-goals
that tie into your monthly goal that can be spread out over each week of
the month, creating a weekly goal that moves into the monthly goal.
What actions will they take to reach each of those goals? Use a
whiteboard to implement a visual representation of the steps the group
must take to reach their goals and gain participation by each member of
the group.
