Sense of Progress
Suggested Strategy: Use GOAL-Based Coaching as a marker for where
the individual would like to be, and to track what steps must be taken to
reach that marker.
Suggested Questions:
→ Rating Question: On a scale of one to six, with six representing that
you absolutely know where you stand as far as progressing with the
company, and one representing that you have no idea where you stand,
where would you rate yourself and why?
→ Self-Actualized Question: What actions do you think we could take
together to help you reach a six?
Suggested Activities:
→ GOAL-Based Coaching: What does this person hope to become Great
at in their career with the company? What Opportunities might be
afforded to the individual by becoming great? What Actions can the
employee take related to tracking their progress in order to bring those
opportunities within reach? What will the individual Love about reaching
their goals?
