Suggested Learning Projects:
→ Self-Directed Learning: Ask the members of the team to read one
chapter per week of the book Our Iceberg is Melting by John Kotter.
This is a great book for teams in learning to work together and adjusting
to changes. Ask each person to write down two takeaways from each
chapter that they feel could contribute to positive change in the team.
Discuss their takeaways at your next coaching session.
→ Peer-to-Peer Coaching: Assign the members of the group to meet with
their assigned partner once in the coming week to discuss how they can
best help each other succeed in the coming week. After the meeting,
each member of the team should email you, carbon-copying the entire
team on the email as well, with their strategy discussed with their
partner, their commitment to help the other succeed, and maybe
something new that they learned about their partner in the discussion.
By having the entire team copied on the email, you bring a strong sense
of accountability to the Learning Project. Each coaching session ask the
members of the team to find a new partner until they have worked with
each member of the team.
