Open & Honest Peer Relationships
Suggested Strategy: Using GOAL-Based Coaching, put the employee in
a place of internal thinking and honesty to begin your coaching
relationship.
Suggested Questions:
→ Rating Question: On a scale of one to six, with six representing a
completely open and honest relationship with your peers, and one being
you may be dishonest or closed off to them, where would you rate
yourself and why? What specific actions do you think we could take
together to help you reach a six?
→ Risk Question: What risks do you think you might assume by not
having an open and honest relationship with your teammates?
Suggested Activities:
→ GOAL-Based Coaching: What does the individual hope to become
Great at in their career? What Opportunities might be provided to them
by becoming great? What Actions must they take related to building
open and honest relationships with their peers to bring those
opportunities within reach? What will this person Love (emotional
attachment) about reaching their goals?
