Building Up Client Base
Suggested Strategy: Using a Whiteboard Coaching strategy, help the
individual see their current and potential strategies for building up their
client base from a new perspective.
Suggested Questions:
→ Third-Party Question: If we were to ask your peers how they might
describe your strategies for building up your client base, what do you
think they might say?
→ Success Imperative: What actions do you think you must take to
successfully build your client base to the best of your ability and to reach
your goals in your position?
Suggested Activities:
→ Whiteboard Coaching: On the left side of a whiteboard, write down
how the employee currently would describe their strategy to build their
client base. On the right side of the board, ask the employee to describe
what the ideal client base looks like. Then, erase the left side of the
board and brainstorm together strategies that the individual might put
into practice in the future to reach that ideal client base going forward to
help them reach success and their career goals.
