Resourcefulness in Sales
Suggested Strategy: Use a GOAL-Based Coaching activity to help the
individual pinpoint their specific goals and set a strategy for
implementing resourcefulness to help them reach those goals.
Suggested Questions:
→ Rating Question: On a scale of one to six, with six representing that
you are able to utilize the resources available to you and may even seek
out new resources to find success in sales and one being that you
wouldn’t even know wher e to look for available resources, where would
you honestly rate yourself and why?
→ Success Imperative: What actions do you think we could take together
to help you successfully utilize your resources to become successful in
your sales?
Suggested Activities:
→ Whiteboard Coaching: On the left side of a whiteboard, have the
individual describe to you how they would currently describe their level
of resourcefulness and how they apply those resources to their sales
tactics. On the right side of the board, have the individual describe to
what ideal resourcefulness in sales might look like. Then erase the left
side of the board and work with the individual to create a strategy for
fully leveraging those resources to reach the highest level of success in
their sales.
