Suggested Strategy: The individual that you would like to coach may not
completely understand how their self-evaluations could have a positive
impact on their job and their level of success with the company. Use a
Define & Coach strategy to ensure that they understand what is
expected of their self-evaluations.
Suggested Questions:
→ Define & Coach: When talking about a self-evaluation, what do you
think is expected when you are asked to be thorough and honest? What
definition would you assign to what that looks like?
→ Success Imperative: What actions must you take as an individual to
complete honest and thorough self-evaluations in order to become as
successful as possible with the company in your position?
Suggested Activities:
→ GOAL-Based Coaching: What does the individual hope to become
Great at in their career? What Opportunities might be afforded to them
by becoming great? What Actions must the individual take in order to
bring those opportunities within reach? What will the individual Love
about reaching their goals? How might completing honest and
thorough self-evaluations help them get on a faster track toward
reaching their goals?
