Suggested Strategy: Use a Peer-to-Peer coaching strategy to help this
individual become comfortable in being open with their peers by
practicing the conversation.
Suggested Questions:
→ Rating Question: On a scale of one to six, with six representing a
complete comfortability in their ability to be open with peers and one
being that you completely shut yourself away from your peers, where
would you rate yourself and why?
→ Risk Question: What risks do you think you might assume by not
opening up to your teammates?
→ Self-Actualized Question: What actions do you think we could take
together to help you reach a six?
Suggested Activities:
→ GOAL-Based Coaching: What does the individual you are coaching
hope to become Great at in their career? What Opportunities might be
afforded to this person by becoming great? How might Actions related
to building open relationships with their peers help to bring those
opportunities within reach? What will they Love about reaching those
goals?
