Suggested Learning Projects:
→ Peer-to-Peer Coaching: Assign your coaching target to meet with one
new peer a week to have a get-to-know-you conversation. The goal for
these conversations is to learn something new about their peer, as well
as for the individual you are coaching to share something that they
wouldn’t normally share with a teammate. The hope is to build a
positive, open relationship with someone new each week.
Supplemental Coaching Strategies:
→ Non-Verbal Coaching: When you have the opportunity to observe
actions taken by the individual you are coaching to build positive open
relationships with their teammates. Be specific in sharing with them the
efforts that you observed and how those efforts are appreciated by you
and will benefit both the individual and the team as a whole.
