Celebrating Team Success as a Group
Suggested Strategy: In a group setting, use Whiteboard Coaching to
compare the team’s current actions when they reach success to what
the ideal might look like.
Suggested Questions:
→ Third-Party Question: If we were to ask someone outside of our team
how they would describe the way we react when the team finds success,
what do you think they would specifically say and why?
→ Risk Question: What risks do you think we might mitigate as a team
when we celebrate team successes?
Suggested Activities:
→ Whiteboard Coaching: On the left side of a whiteboard, write down
how the team would describe the way they currently navigate success
as a group. On the right side of the board, write down how the team
would describe what it might ideally look like to celebrate successes
together as a group and share in their individual successes. Then,
erase the left side of the board and write down the specific actions the
individuals on the team must take to reach that description on the
right side of the board.
