Suggested Learning Projects:
→ Observational Coaching: Ask the members of the team to observe
their peers and their efforts to improve the team’s planning and
execution success. This provides a sense of accountability and peer-to-
peer support for each other. Have the team come back to your next
coaching session with an example of a peer’s positive efforts to launch
the team to success through their planning and execution.
→ Self-Directed Learning: Ask the team members to come back to your
next coaching session with two examples of planning and execution that
they executed that they felt contributed to the success of the team.
Supplemental Coaching Strategies:
→ Non-Verbal Coaching: Leave handwritten notes at the workstations of
employees (or send the notes home with them) to share your
observations of specific action taken by those employees. Let them
know how their actions are beneficial to the team and appreciated by
you.
