→ Whiteboard Coaching: On the left-hand side of the board, write down
how the employee/team describes the way they handle stress and how
that relates to their time management. Then, on the right-hand side of
the board, have them describe the stress management techniques they
can implement and the implications it would have for time
management. Then erase the left side then ask them what actions
need to be taken sothe right side of the board becomes a reality.
Suggested Learning Projects:
→ Tangible Successes: Have the employee come back to your next
coaching session with three examples of times throughout the week
where they were able to execute in all areas of your shared definition of
stress management. Have them reflect on how that affected their time
management capability.
Supplemental Coaching Strategies:
→ Non-Verbal Coaching: Leave your coaching target a hand-written note
on their desk when you observe improvement in stress-management.
Make sure your note is specific and descriptive.
