Refusing to Complete Certain Tasks
Suggested Strategy: Using GOAL-Based Coaching, help the individual
build awareness around how completing the tasks they do not want to
complete could be having an impact on their path toward reaching their
career goals.
Suggested Questions:
→ Rating Question: On a scale of one to six, with six representing that
you are completely open to completing all tasks asked of you and one
representing that you absolutely will not do certain things, where would
you rate yourself and why?
→ Self-Actualized Question: What actions do you think we must take
together to help you reach a six?
Suggested Activities:
→ GOAL-Based Coaching: What does the individual strive to become
Great at in their career? What Opportunities might be afforded to the
individual by becoming great? What Actions must the individual take to
bring those opportunities within reach? What will the individual Love
about reaching these goals? How will being open to completing all tasks
asked of them help put them on a faster track toward reaching their
goals?
