→ Role Play: Give the team a personality test, and role play situations
where you feel like certain personalities stereotypically perform better in
that given task. Then, challenge the team to role play situations where
those who typically do not perform as well could be successful.
Challenge them to think outside of the box.
Suggested Learning Projects:
→ Peer-to-Peer Coaching: To help with team building dynamics, use
peer-to-peer relationships to help foster what you discuss during
the Questions and Learning Projects sections. To set up these peer
relationships, pair employees up with others that you feel can
challenge them in a constructive way or bring them out of their
shells to interact with the team. Simply providing a peer mentorship
opportunity gives your employees the chance to have their opinions
heard.
→ Observational Coaching: Have the team observe a partner throughout
the week and journal how their personality interacts with their job roles,
and vice versa. This will help your team develop a better understanding
of where others are coming from, and how personality is not always the
sole reason for behavior. However, this will give them real life
experience to draw connections from your activities into their learning
projects.
