→ Tangible Successes: Ask the employee to come back to your next

coaching session with three examples of times during the week where

they made positive strides toward building a trusting relationship with a

peer. What actions did they take, and what were the effects of those

actions?

→ Journal-Based Coaching: Assign your coaching target to keep a

running journal entry of times where they felt that the trust between them

and a peer was put to the test – how did each party react? What actions

did either party take to maintain or build the relationship instead of

allowing the trust to crumble?

Supplemental Coaching Strategies:

→ 30-Second Coaching: Take 30 seconds of your day to acknowledge

positive improvement in the relationships that this person is building with

their peers – let them know specifically what actions they have taken

and why they are beneficial to their peer-to-peer trust
