Suggested Learning Projects:
→ Observational Coaching: Ask your coaching target to observe their
peers asthey interact with customers. What strategies do their peers
have in place that the individual could put into practice as they work with
customers when they have requests. Discuss their observations at your
next coaching session.
Supplemental Coaching Strategies:
→ Non-Verbal Coaching: As the individual works toward giving
customers a better perception of their enthusiasm to assist them, leave
a handwritten note at their workstation to share with them the specific
observations you have made of their efforts. Let them know if your note
why their efforts are appreciated by you and beneficial for your coaching
target.
