session with 5 appropriate conversation
topics UNRELATED TO the transaction
that could be used to get to know the
member better on a light personal level.
→ Self-Directed Learning: Have the employee put conversation topics from
both the activity and the learning project
to use in conversations with real
members throughout the week and
journal the effects that the topics had on
each conversation.
Supplemental Coaching Strategies:
→ Journal-Based Coaching: This allows the employee to keep track of what interactions are going well for them because of using the
conversation topics discussed in your coaching sessions, and which
ones could be better and why th ey aren’t going as well.
