Suggested Learning Projects:
→ Peer-to-Peer Coaching: Have this person practice with and learn from their peers – two times per week, with two different peers. They should
observe their peers’ interactions with their members. Your employee
should then journal their observations regarding how their peers
handled tough situations or members and what this person thinks they
did well, and what could have been improved. Be prepared to discuss
journal entries at your next coaching session.
→ Observational Coaching: One additional thing this employee can do in those observation sessions is practice with their peers after
observing their interactions using role play.
Supplemental Coaching Strategies:
→ 30-Second Coaching : After observing the employee interact with a particularly difficult or frustrating member, take 30 seconds to
acknowledge the specific actions put into place by the employee to
remain calm and handle the situation confidently.
