Pressuring Members when Selling

Suggested Strategy: Practice sales tactics so that this person may have

more successful sales conversations.

Suggested Questions:

→ Third Party Question: How do you think the members you try to sell to would describe the way you sell to them? → Hypothetical Question: Hypothetically, if I were to ask your peers to describe your selling style, what do you think they would say?

Suggested Activities:

→ Role Play: Practice having sales conversations, using different types of selling styles. After each practice conversation, ask the person to

give themselves feedback – what did they do well? What do they think

they could have done to make the conversation more effective?

→ Whiteboard Coaching: On the left side of the board, write down how this person thinks that a member would describe their selling style. On

the right side of the board, write down what they think the ideal sales

strategy looks like to a member. Erase the left side of the board and

write down the actions that this person is willing to take to reach the

description on the right side of the board.
