Suggested Learning Projects:
→ Self-Directed Learning: Have the teller come back to your next coaching session with three examples of times throughout the week
where they avoided socializing while behind the teller line, and what
effect their actions had on the conversations that they were able to
have with the members they were assisting and their productivity
between assisting members.
Supplemental Coaching Strategies:
→ Non-Verbal Coaching: Leave the teller a hand-written note on their teller station when you observe improvement in the amount of time they
spend socializing. Let them know the specific actions that you have
noticed and positive changes in their productivity and relationships with
members.
