Teller Station is Unorganized
Suggested Strategy: Ask questions based on the effects that a messy
teller station can have on the operations behind the teller line.
Suggested Questions:
→ Risk Question: What risks do you think you might assume by not keeping your teller station organized? → Self-Actualized Question: What actions can you take to ensure that you begin each day with an organized station to set yourself up for an
overall organized day?
Suggested Activities:
→ Whiteboard Coaching: On the left side of a whiteboard, write down how this person thinks that their peers might currently describe their
teller station. On the right side of the board, write down how this teller’s
peers should ideally describe their teller station. Draw a horizontal
arrow from left to right between the phrases, along with five vertical
hash marks along the arrow. See Learning Project for follow-up action.
Suggested Learning Projects:
→ Self-Directed Learning: Assign the teller to come back to your next coaching session with the five hash marks filled in with actions that they
are committed to taking to help themselves reach the description on the
right side of the board, along with what effects that reaching that
description will have on their work.
