Letting Go of Previous Job Role
Suggested Strategy: Use GOAL-Based Coaching to help the individual
set new goals for themselves in their new position and create a strategy
for tackling those goals, so they have something to focus on that does
not involve their previous position.
Suggested Questions:
→ Rating Question: On a scale of one to six, with six representing that
you have seamlessly transitioned your focus into this position and its
goals, and one representing that you may be holding on to some of the
responsibilities of your previous position, where would you rate yourself
and why?
→ Self-Actualized Question: What actions do you think we can take
together to help you become organized in a way that will help you reach
a six and set your sights on your goals that are specific to this new
position?
