I really remember from it, drinking the syrup from the post mix. That was a big thing for all the kids. We were all quite into drinking the syrup. Sean Barrett They were playing football out in the alleyway outside with one of them really like penny floater balls and he booted it and somehow the wind swept it up and it went straight up and smashed the window of the gig room during the band’s set and all of these grown men that were playing football, their first instinct, they all just ran. They all just ran off. Andy Bryant The night Thatcher died. That night. And it was, I believe it was a Tuesday, I seem to remember it is Tuesday. And, on the way back from delivering the canvas to the art exhibition, I kind of phoned, and the girl, who was involved at the time called Jules, and, I kind of said have you heard the news and she went. “Yes. Ding Dong! You know!” And I said, “Do you think there’s any chance we could maybe meet up at the club for a drink” and, she went “I’m totally on it, Yeah, absolutely” … and we walked in and the place was absolutely full. It’s totally full. The member’s bar was absolutely full. And the gig space, there was just like a reggae soundsystem had done a night on the Saturday… I know it’s kind of awful, but, it was just so joyous, you know, it’s such a momentous night.
